Nagpur is the second capital of Maharashtra and is well connected by rail, road & air. A city with second highest number of engineering institutes, it is also the biggest producer of oranges. This zero mile city of India (centre of country and world) is evolving into a destination of future. Nagpur has its own International airport and the very magnificent Multi Modal Hub Airport-Nagpur (MIHAN) spread across 4311 hectares is being developed here comprising an airport terminal of 3000 sq.mtrs. This will also act as the midpoint of South East Asian aviation route. MIHAN would comprise an SEZ which will be home to prominent IT firms. Another business hub is the Butibori Growth Centre (2312 hectares), Asia's biggest industrial area supported by a five star industrial zone spreading across 270 hectares. A Health City spreading across 75 hectares is also proposed in Nagpur. |
